This Shipping and Delivery Policy explains what you can expect after making an online payment on the website kalimandircrpark.com (the "Website") operated by Chittaranjan Park Kali Mandir Society (Regd.) ("we", "us", "our", or "the Society").

1. Nature of Services

Chittaranjan Park Kali Mandir Society is a religious and charitable organisation. The transactions on our Website primarily involve:

  • Donations: Voluntary contributions towards the temple's religious, cultural, and charitable activities.
  • Puja & Ritual Bookings: Payments for religious services performed at the temple on behalf of devotees.
  • Yatri Niwas Bookings: Payments for accommodation at the temple's guest house.
  • Prasad Delivery: Payments for prasad (sanctified offerings) to be dispatched to devotees, if and when this service is made available.
  • Other Services: Event registrations, programme tickets, or other offerings as may be introduced from time to time.

Since most of our services are rendered at the temple premises or delivered digitally (via email), traditional shipping and physical delivery apply only in specific cases as described below.

2. Digital Delivery

The following are delivered digitally via email to the address you provide during the transaction:

a) Donation Receipts

  • A donation receipt or acknowledgement will be sent to your registered email address within 3–5 business days of a successful transaction.
  • If you do not receive a receipt within this period, please check your spam/junk folder or contact us.

b) Booking Confirmations

  • For puja bookings and Yatri Niwas reservations, a confirmation email with your booking details will be sent within 24–48 hours of a successful payment.
  • The confirmation will include your booking reference number, date, and any relevant instructions.

c) Payment Confirmations

  • A payment confirmation or transaction receipt from our payment gateway partner will be sent to your email immediately upon successful processing of the payment.

3. Physical Delivery (Prasad & Religious Items)

If and when the Society offers the service of dispatching prasad or religious items to devotees, the following terms will apply:

a) Delivery Area

  • Within India: We will deliver to addresses across India through reputed courier or postal services.
  • International Delivery: International shipping may not be available for all items. Availability and charges will be displayed at the time of placing the order.

b) Delivery Timelines

  • Within Delhi NCR: 3–5 business days from the date of dispatch.
  • Rest of India (Metro Cities): 5–7 business days from the date of dispatch.
  • Rest of India (Other Areas): 7–10 business days from the date of dispatch.
  • International: 10–21 business days, depending on the destination country and customs clearance.

Please note that these timelines are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control, including courier delays, weather, holidays, or customs processing.

c) Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges, if applicable, will be clearly displayed during the checkout process before you confirm your order.
  • The Society may offer free delivery for certain items or above a minimum order value, which will be indicated on the Website.

d) Tracking

  • Where available, a tracking number and courier details will be shared via email once your order has been dispatched.

e) Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damaged package and contents.
  • If your shipment is lost in transit, please contact us and we will coordinate with the courier service to trace or replace the item.

4. Services Rendered at Temple Premises

For services that are performed at the temple (such as pujas, rituals, and accommodation), no physical shipping or delivery is involved. The service will be rendered at the temple on the date and time confirmed in your booking. Please carry your booking confirmation (printed or digital) when you visit.
