The Chittaranjan Park Kali Mandir welcomes all devotees and visitors with open arms. The temple is open to people of all faiths and backgrounds. To ensure a pleasant and respectful experience for everyone, please observe the following guidelines.
Temple Timings
The temple is open daily with seasonal variations:
- Summer (April – October): 5:00 AM to 9:30 PM (afternoon break 12:30 – 5:00 PM)
- Winter (November – March): 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM (afternoon break 1:00 – 4:30 PM)

Entry & Admission
- There is no entry fee to visit the temple
- The temple is open to all devotees regardless of caste, creed, or religion
- Shoes must be removed before entering the temple sanctum
- Shoe stands are available near the temple entrance
Dress Code & Etiquette
- Modest and respectful attire is expected within the temple premises
- Traditional Indian clothing is welcomed but not mandatory
- Please maintain silence and decorum inside the temple
- Mobile phones should be kept on silent mode during darshan and aartis
- Please do not touch the deities or offerings without permission
- Follow the queue and instructions of the temple staff and sevaks
Photography
- General photography of the temple exterior, complex, and grounds is typically permitted
- Please be respectful during puja and aarti — avoid flash photography
- Photography rules may be different during festivals; follow posted guidelines
- Commercial photography requires prior permission from the temple office

- Washrooms: Clean washroom facilities are available in the complex
- Drinking water: Available at the temple premises
- Canteen: Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food at nominal rates at Yatri Niwas
- Sitting area: Seating available in the garden and courtyard areas

- Security: 3 entry gates with security personnel and CCTV surveillance
Best Time to Visit
- Morning Aarti (Mangal Arati): Experience the serene dawn prayers, starting at 5:00 AM (summer) or 6:00 AM (winter)
- Evening Aarti (Sandhyarati): A beautiful evening experience starting at 7:00 PM (summer) or 6:00 PM (winter)
- Festivals: Durga Puja (September/October) and Kali Puja (October/November) are the most spectacular times to visit
- Weekday mornings are generally less crowded for a peaceful darshan

- The temple complex is secured with CCTV surveillance and security at all entry points
- Children should be accompanied by adults at all times
