Below are answers to the most commonly asked questions about the Chittaranjan Park Kali Mandir. If your question is not covered here, please feel free to contact us or call the temple office.

Summer Timings (April – October): 4:45 AM to 10:00 PM, with an afternoon break from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Winter Timings (November – March): 5:45 AM to 9:00 PM, with an afternoon break from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Timings may change during major festivals and special occasions. Please check the Notice Board or call the temple office for updates.

Mangal Arati: 4:45 AM (summer) / 5:45 AM (winter)

Bhogarati: 11:20 AM (year-round)

Sandhyarati: 6:30 PM (summer) / 6:00 PM (winter)

The Musical Fountain operates Tuesday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:15 PM (after Sandhya Arati).

No. The temple is free for all devotees. There are no entry tickets or fees. Everyone is welcome to visit and offer prayers.

The nearest metro station is Nehru Enclave on the Magenta Line, approximately 3 minutes walk from the temple. The temple is also accessible by bus, auto-rickshaw, and taxi.

Yes. The Yatri Niwas (Dharmashala) at the temple complex offers comfortable accommodation for visiting devotees and travellers:

  • 12 AC rooms
  • 12 cooler rooms
  • 3 dormitories (6 beds each)

Booking: Call 011-2627 2924. Advance booking is available up to 2 months in advance. Maximum stay is 7 days.

Yes. The Vivekananda Centenary Library is located within the temple complex and houses nearly 8,000 books across diverse genres including philosophy, fiction, poetry, travelogue, and children's literature.

Yes. The canteen at Yatri Niwas serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food at nominal rates. It is available to guests of the Yatri Niwas as well as temple visitors.
